1. Introduction

Welcome to BeatEarn Africa (“BeatEarn Africa,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

This Licensing Policy explains how music, sounds, audio assets, and related intellectual property are licensed and used through the BeatEarn Africa platform.

BeatEarn Africa operates as a creator monetization and licensed music platform focused on enabling creators to legally use approved music in YouTube (especially Shorts) and other supported digital content.

By using BeatEarn Africa music or services, creators agree to comply with this Licensing Policy.

2. Ownership of Music & Content

All music, beats, instrumentals, sounds, audio recordings, metadata, branding assets, and related intellectual property made available through BeatEarn Africa remain the property of:

  • BeatEarn Africa,
  • its licensors,
  • music producers,
  • artists,
  • distributors,
  • publishing partners,
  • or rights holders.

Using BeatEarn Africa music does not transfer ownership rights to creators.

Creators receive only a limited license to use approved content under the terms described in this Policy.

3. License Granted to Creators

BeatEarn Africa grants eligible creators a:

  • non-exclusive,
  • revocable,
  • limited,
  • non-transferable

license to use approved BeatEarn Africa music in eligible content.

Approved uses may include:

  • YouTube Shorts
  • Short-form videos
  • Social media content
  • Promotional creator videos
  • Monetized creator content approved by BeatEarn Africa

The license applies only while:

  • the creator remains in good standing,
  • the music remains authorized on the platform,
  • and all platform rules are followed.

4. Permitted Uses

Creators may:

  • Use licensed music in YouTube Shorts and supported videos.
  • Monetize eligible videos subject to platform rules.
  • Use music within transformative creator content.
  • Publish content across approved social platforms where permitted.

5. Prohibited Uses

Creators may NOT:

  • Re-upload BeatEarn Africa music as standalone music releases.
  • Upload music to DSPs such as Spotify or Apple Music without authorization.
  • Sell, sublicense, or redistribute the music.
  • Claim ownership of the music or sound recordings.
  • Use the music in unlawful, hateful, violent, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • Use the music for fake engagement, spam, or misleading activity.
  • Remove copyright management information or metadata.
  • Attempt to bypass Content ID systems or copyright claims.

Unauthorized use may result in:

  • Removal from the platform,
  • copyright enforcement,
  • revenue forfeiture,
  • account suspension,
  • or legal action.

6. YouTube Content ID & Monetization

BeatEarn Africa may register licensed music into:

  • YouTube Content ID,
  • publishing administration systems,
  • royalty collection systems,
  • and digital rights management services.

As a result:

  • Videos using BeatEarn Africa music may receive automated copyright claims.
  • Such claims are part of the monetization and rights management process.
  • These claims do NOT necessarily mean the creator has received a copyright strike.

Creators agree not to fraudulently dispute valid copyright claims associated with licensed music.

7. Revenue Sharing & Royalties

BeatEarn Africa may share monetization revenue with eligible creators based on:

  • agreed revenue split percentages,
  • creator performance,
  • monetized traffic,
  • advertiser revenue,
  • and platform settlement processes.

Revenue generated through licensed music usage may include:

  • Content ID earnings,
  • advertising revenue,
  • publishing-related revenue,
  • sync-related earnings,
  • or other monetization streams.

BeatEarn Africa reserves the right to:

  • adjust payout structures,
  • modify licensing models,
  • and determine eligibility requirements.

8. Revenue Verification Period

Creators acknowledge that:

  • revenue reporting may initially appear as estimated earnings,
  • and earnings require verification before payouts are released.

Payments are generally finalized approximately within 60–90 days after revenue generation due to industry-standard settlement and verification processes.

This process may include validation of:

  • monetized views,
  • advertiser revenue,
  • invalid traffic,
  • copyright conflicts,
  • and platform reconciliation procedures.

9. Exclusive & Non-Exclusive Licensing

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:

  • all BeatEarn Africa licenses are non-exclusive.

BeatEarn Africa reserves the right to:

  • license the same music to multiple creators,
  • distribute music across different campaigns,
  • or monetize music across various platforms.

Exclusive licensing arrangements require separate written agreements.

10. Copyright Infringement & Unauthorized Use

BeatEarn Africa respects intellectual property rights.

If any creator, artist, producer, or rights holder believes content infringes their rights, they may contact BeatEarn Africa with:

  • proof of ownership,
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material,
  • and supporting documentation.

BeatEarn Africa reserves the right to:

  • remove content,
  • disable monetization,
  • suspend accounts,
  • or cooperate with legal authorities where necessary.

11. Third-Party Rights & Samples

Creators and licensors must ensure that uploaded music:

  • does not contain unauthorized samples,
  • does not infringe third-party copyrights,
  • and complies with all applicable licensing obligations.

BeatEarn Africa is not responsible for legal disputes arising from unauthorized samples or improperly cleared content supplied by third parties.

12. Termination of License

BeatEarn Africa may revoke or terminate licenses at any time if:

  • creators violate platform rules,
  • fraudulent activity is detected,
  • copyright abuse occurs,
  • or platform policies are breached.

Upon termination:

  • creators must stop using affected music,
  • remove unauthorized content where required,
  • and cease monetization involving revoked assets.

13. Limitation of Liability

BeatEarn Africa does not guarantee:

  • specific earnings,
  • viral growth,

  • or uninterrupted platform availability.

Use of the platform and licensed music is at the creator’s own risk.
